Sometimes, as a parent myself, I used to try desperately to find out what single items occurred during that day. The only questions I could ask were ones like "What happened today?," or "Did you learn anything today?" Neither of which got me more than a nod. Then my dad gave me a suggestion. If you know a small something that happened in the classroom you can use that to peak your child's interest. This is especially true since they have no idea how you found out! So let me help you talk with your child. On this page I will post small bits of information about what happens in a classroom that may inspire conversation, (or curiosity), from your child. Have fun with it!
